Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roland Juarez (ranked 3908 p4p, 2138 weight class) and Erick Garza (ranked 363 p4p, 0 weight class). Erick Garza is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erick Garza!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juarez fails to land with a series of punches.
Garza feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Juarez pushes Garza off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Garza closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Juarez's guard.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Juarez manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
