Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Emery Anden (ranked 3903 p4p, 2929 weight class) and Arman Sarkisyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emery Anden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arman Sarkisyan!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarkisyan fails with a takedown attempt.
Anden connects with a high kick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Anden.
Sarkisyan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Anden sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sarkisyan somewhat.
Sarkisyan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Anden defends well and Sarkisyan ends up having to push Anden into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Emery Anden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arman Sarkisyan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sarkisyan fails with the takedown.
Anden buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Anden gets caught napping as Sarkisyan dives in and scores a takedown. Anden manages to retain guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Anden controls Sarkisyan momentarily but Sarkisyan frees himself.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Anden holds on and takes a little breather.
Sarkisyan throwing strikes from guard but Anden blocks nicely.
Sarkisyan engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Sarkisyan with a flurry of punches that miss.
Sarkisyan stays in close to Anden's body and controls the position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sarkisyan is in close to Anden's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Sarkisyan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Anden stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anden wants it to stay on the feet.
Sarkisyan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sarkisyan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Anden sprawls well initially but Sarkisyan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sarkisyan lands a nice short elbow.
Sarkisyan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Anden's head.
Anden is trying to stand up here but Sarkisyan is controlling him well.
Sarkisyan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Sarkisyan lands strikes from half guard.
Sarkisyan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Sarkisyan looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Anden is rocked!
It looks like Emery Anden has been cut.
Sarkisyan lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Anden! More strikes land and this one is all over! Sarkisyan jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arman Sarkisyan!
