Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Philip Marcus (ranked 309 p4p, 384 weight class) and Heung Min Choi (ranked 26 p4p, 35 weight class). Choi has chosen Black Eyed Bruiser as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Philip Marcus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Heung Min Choi! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Choi throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
 It looks like Philip Marcus has been cut. Marcus moves out of range of the strikes. Marcus throws a jab but it's blocked by Choi. Choi walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Choi misses with an uppercut. Marcus saw that one coming. Choi staying out of range there. Choi scores with a jab. Marcus acknowledges it with a nod of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Choi throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Marcus swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Choi uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Marcus has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Infamous Duranto Gym in the buildup to the fight.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Marcus has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Choi. Choi misses with a hook. Marcus ducked under it nicely. Choi tries a head kick but it misses.

and Choi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
 It looks like Heung Min Choi has been cut. Nice shot by Choi. Choi steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Marcus. Choi jabbing away but nothing is landing. Marcus seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Choi fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Marcus checks it well. Choi scores with a leg kick.

Choi eats them both and turns towards Marcus to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Marcus keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Marcus gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Marcus ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Marcus bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A head kick misses from Choi. Marcus was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Choi throws a poor cross that misses
and Marcus counters with a one-two to the body.
Choi has taken the fight to the clinch.
Marcus wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A short uppercut from Marcus. Choi lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Marcus backwards.

Choi blocks a jab. Choi waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Marcus. Marcus swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Choi misses with a looping left. Choi missing with a left hand there. Marcus was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Choi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Choi there as he acknowledges the shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Choi throws a head kick but Marcus moves out of range.
Choi slips a straight right by Marcus. Marcus closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Marcus throws a jab when Choi was well out of range. Heung Min Choi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Choi throws a jab but it's blocked by Marcus. An attempted straight right counter from Marcus misses the target. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Heung Min Choi dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Choi shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Choi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Marcuss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Choi misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Marcus to counter with a crisp jab. Marcus throws a head kick but Choi moves out of range.

and Choi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Choi stuns Marcus with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Choi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Choi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Marcus doesn't seem bothered though. Choi lands a nice looking body shot.
Marcus throws a head kick that misses and Choi counters with a stiff right hand.
 Marcus is rocked! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Choi engages and cracks Marcus with a massive lead left hook - Marcus tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Choi is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Heung Min Choi! A very excited looking Heung Min Choi made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
