Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Maverick (ranked 1016 p4p, 1443 weight class) and Common Carp (ranked 129 p4p, 182 weight class). Carp has chosen Back On My BS - BigXthaPlug as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Common Carp has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Common Carp!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.

Carp's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Maverick connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Carp scrambles back to his feet.

Carp might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Daniel Maverick spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
