Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marty Ossman (ranked 2826 p4p, 4898 weight class) and Blase Beneteau (ranked 297 p4p, 402 weight class). Ossman's entrance music is Roy Jones Jr. - Can't be touched. A fine choice. Marty Ossman is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marty Ossman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Blase Beneteau!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Beneteau.
Beneteau keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ossman gets in close and instigates a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ossman creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ossman lands with a short shot to the head.
Ossman lands a hook that snaps the head of Beneteau backwards.
Ossman throws an elbow but it misses.
A head punch on the inside from Ossman fails to land.
Ossman tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Beneteau wants to break free but Ossman has control.
Ossman is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Beneteau gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Ossman misses with a knee to the head.
Beneteau blocking some punches.
Ossman tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Beneteau's elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Beneteau is trying to break the clinch but Ossman has him pressed against the cage.

Ossman is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Ossman lands an elbow that stopped Beneteau in his tracks for a moment.

Ossman goes for a takedown attempt but Beneteau pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ossman shoots in for a takedown but Beneteau shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ossman misses with a double jab.
Ossman wants to clinch
and Beneteau counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Beneteau circles away from the clinch attempt.
Beneteau tries to work over Ossman's front leg with a kick but Ossman checks it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Ossman. Beneteau does a little dance to reset his feet.
Beneteau is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Beneteau lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Ossman lands a right hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Beneteau on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Ossman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ossman moves into range and clinches up with Beneteau.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Beneteau.
Beneteau breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ossman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A combination from Ossman does no damage.
Beneteau throws out a counter right but Ossman avoids it with no problem.
Beneteau keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Beneteau is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Ossman with a body shot.
Beneteau throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ossman sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Ossman tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Beneteau counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ossman works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A cross from Beneteau lands.
Ossman looks for a takedown but Beneteau sprawls well.
Beneteau was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Ossman misses the body punch
and Beneteau counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Ossman! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Blase Beneteau!
