Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aggressive Merman (ranked 25553 p4p, 25570 weight class) and Oliver Marsh (ranked 476 p4p, 484 weight class). Merman comes to the cage accompanied by Under the Sea. Aggressive Merman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aggressive Merman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Oliver Marsh!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh lands with a nice combination. Merman backs away looking to recover.
Marsh doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Marsh is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Merman.
It looked like Merman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Marsh bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Merman's head backwards.
Marsh digs a good hook to Merman's body.
Merman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Marsh is looking to slow Merman down with leg kicks.
Marsh staying out of range there.
Marsh throws a hook but Merman blocks it.
A jab lands there for Marsh.
Marsh misses with a looping left.
Merman gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marsh's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Marsh connects with a crisp jab.
Merman throws a right and a left that Marsh avoids nicely.
A little jabbing left from Marsh on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

It looks like Oliver Marsh has been cut.
Marsh misses with a hook. Merman ducked under it nicely.
Merman swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Merman moves into range and connects with a jab.
Marsh looks to land a right hand but Merman moved out of range.
Marsh takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Merman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Marsh looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Merman digs a good body shot into Marsh's ribs.
Marsh clinches.
Merman lands a nice shot to the body.
Nice body punch from Merman - that landed with a thud.
Merman goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Merman presses Marsh against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Merman jumps guard but Marsh stands there with Merman around his waist. Merman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Marsh breaks from the clinch.

Marsh closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Marsh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Merman throws a lazy right hand but Marsh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Merman moves into range and connects with a jab.
Marsh swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Oliver Marsh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marsh swinging wildly here.
Marsh looks to throw the jab but Merman is out of range.
Marsh moves forwards but Merman connects with a nice, crisp jab.
That has opened up Oliver Marsh's cut even more.
Merman moves out of range as Marsh strikes.
Marsh connects with a leg kick.
Marsh walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Marsh throws a nice looking combination but Merman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Merman throws a hook to the side of Marsh's head but Marsh sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Marsh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Marsh lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Merman at a distance.
A decent looking cross lands there for Merman.
Marsh swinging wildly here.
Merman throws a looping overhand right but Marsh ducks down to avoid it.
It looks like Merman has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Marsh cracks Merman with a right hand to the side of the head.
Marsh lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Marsh throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Merman.
Marsh doesn't manage to clinch there - Merman circles away.
Merman has taken the fight to the clinch.
Marsh breaks the clinch.
Marsh lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Merman at a distance.
Merman clinches up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Marsh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

A head kick by Marsh misses
and Merman counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Marsh on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Marsh takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Marsh is rocked!
The cut above Oliver Marsh's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Marsh uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Merman has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Marsh finds it's way round the side to connect with Merman's head.
Merman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Marsh swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Merman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Marsh misses with a hook
and Merman counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Merman throws a body shot but no joy.
Merman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
It looked like Merman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Marsh misses with an uppercut
and Merman counters with a huge left! Marsh is in big trouble! He's backing up but Merman isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Marsh from any more damage. A dominating finish by Merman!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aggressive Merman!
Aggressive Merman decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
