Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Pancake doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Wiener counters by clinching up.

Wiener has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pancake can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Pancake trying to control the position from guard on top but Wiener is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wiener manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pancake manages to get himself to full guard.

Wiener is trying to get an arm triangle but Pancake is defending well. Pancake wants to control but Wiener postures up. Pancake tries to improve position but can't. Pancake seems a little lost for a moment, as Wiener dominates the positioning.

The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Wiener has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Pancake's body.

Wiener is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Pancake defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Wiener keeps control of the position easily here as Pancake tries to buck him off.
