Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jump Nelson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xzavier Jacobs! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jacobs throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Nelson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jacobs manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jacobs thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nelson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Jacobs stops Nelson from passing to mount. Jacobs is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Jacobs tries to buck Nelson off but Nelson is having none of it. Nelson is trying to move to mount but Jacobs reverses beautifully and ends up in Nelson's guard. Jacobs stands up over Nelson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Jacobs trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Nelson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jacobs doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Nelson is tightening it up a little... Jacobs has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jacobs reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jacobs taps out! Nice BJJ there by Nelson!
