Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Damian Lamb (ranked 4706 p4p, 3993 weight class) and Soren Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamb has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Damian Lamb has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damian Lamb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Soren Hansen!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen shoots in for a takedown but Lamb shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lamb appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Hansen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lamb as he avoids it easily.
Hansen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lamb but Lamb pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Damian Lamb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Soren Hansen.
Lamb tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hansen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lamb somewhat.

Hansen looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lamb has picked Hansen up and slammed him! Hansen can't keep hold of the triangle and Lamb manages to pass to side control!

Well Hansen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
