Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dane Mercer (ranked 2685 p4p, 24622 weight class) and Luis Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. The key to victory for Dane Mercer has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dane Mercer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luis Wayne!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Steve Erwin and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercer fails to land with a series of punches.
Wayne steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Wayne misses with a head kick.
Mercer was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Mercer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mercer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A head kick misses from Mercer.
Mercer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mercer wants it to stay on the feet.
Wayne looks winded!
Wayne rushes Mercer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mercer breaks the clinch.
Mercer drops Wayne with a beautiful combination! Wayne stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mercer is looking for the KO!
Wayne is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wayne drops his hands for a split second and Mercer immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Wayne face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Mercer follows up with a right hand that knocks Wayne into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dane Mercer!
