The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yurchon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jimenez is trying to defend but Yurchon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Yurchon lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Yurchon working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Jimenez is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Yurchon scores with a couple of nice shots.

Jimenez tries to kick Yurchon off but Yurchon keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Yurchon is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Jimenez is hurt! He's hurt bad - Yurchon fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Jimenez from any more punishment! Congratulations to Yurchon! Great finish!
