Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kid Roachman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lionel Lazardo!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roachman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lazardo's half guard.
Lazardo has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Roachman is on him like a limpet, forcing Lazardo back against the cage.
Lazardo works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Roachman working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lazardo.
Lazardo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lazardo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Roachman dives on top into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Roachman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lazardo has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Roachman doesn't defend quickly enough and Lazardo has managed to lock this one up! Can Roachman escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Lazardo on a fantastic submission victory.
