Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, George Melaiko!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melaiko gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Melaiko takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Melaiko wants to clinch.
As Melaiko looks to move away, Dean throws a big counter combo but Melaiko just gets out of the way.
George Melaiko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Melaiko just misses with a punch to the body.
Dean drops Melaiko with a nice combination! Dean dives into Melaiko's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like George Melaiko has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Melaiko throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Dean lands a head kick. Melaiko smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Melaiko misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Dean breaks the clinch.

Dean has Melaiko up against the cage in a clinch.
Melaiko is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Dean pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Melaiko tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dean smiles and moves away.
We've been told by Dean's head coaches at Mighty MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jimmy Dean has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Melaiko.
A nice combination there by Dean.
Dean throws an overhand right that has Melaiko reeling! Dean follows up with more punches and Melaiko is out cold! This one is all over!
