Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Helen Salvacion (ranked 23429 p4p, 23453 weight class) and Tapad Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 59 - 75 - 11, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 45 - 90 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion fails to land the takedown. Amiga is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Salvacion dives in and grabs Amiga's left leg, looking for a takedown. Amiga pushes down on Salvacion's head and hops out. Salvacion leaves Amiga with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Salvacion throws a quick counter kick to the body but Amiga avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga misses with a takedown attempt - Salvacion sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Amiga is defended easily by Salvacion. Salvacion jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Helen Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tapad Amiga.
Salvacion closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Amiga did well to prevent Salvacion getting side control. Amiga is looking to get back to is feet but Salvacion passes into side control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Salvacion trying to control the position but Amiga is working away. Amiga can't do much from the bottom here. Amiga tries to bench press Salvacion off him but Salvacion keeps the position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Amiga's shoulder. That is not cool. An elbow from Salvacion crashes against the mat.
Amiga struggling a bit here. Salvacion tries to score with some ground and pound. Amiga controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salvacion tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Salvacion takes a little break here. Amiga wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Amiga has a takedown stuffed. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion shoots in for a takedown but Amiga shows good takedown defense. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Helen Salvacion dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Amiga bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amiga wants to lay and pray for a moment but Salvacion keeps working. Salvacion seems a little lost for a moment, as Amiga dominates the positioning. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion defending against the ground and pound.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Salvacion's shoulder. That is not cool. Salvacion struggling a bit here. Amiga just content to control the position.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga tries to get to full guard but Salvacion has control of the leg. Salvacion trying to control the pace.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Amiga wants to control but Salvacion is keeping busy.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Salvacion content to control rather than advance.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Amiga has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Salvacion. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Tapad Amiga will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Nice sprawl there from Salvacion as Amiga shoots in. Salvacion keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Salvacion is looking to counter with a body kick. Amiga shoots in but Salvacion avoids the takedown attempt easily. And Salvacion counters with a quick kick to the body but Amiga blocks it. Helen Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tapad Amiga. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt from distance. And Amiga responds with a good body kick, but Salvacion manages to step out the way in time.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga lands with a kick to the ribs.
Salvacion dives in and scores a takedown into Amiga's guard. Salvacion seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Amiga has control of Salvacion's left arm, preventing Salvacion from doing any damage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Salvacion is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Salvacion postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion trying to control the position from guard on top but Amiga is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Salvacion stays in close to Amiga's body and controls the position.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Salvacion. A nice side step and Amiga releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Amiga shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Amiga was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Amiga happy to just control the position for now.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Tapad Amiga. I think Amiga has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
