Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between suzuki komby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naoto Sugawara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, suzuki komby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Naoto Sugawara!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sugawara scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like suzuki komby has been cut.
komby takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

A jab from komby misses.
komby misses with a few strikes there.
komby misses with a looping left.
A telegraphed right hand from Sugawara misses the target.
komby takes a jab right on the kisser.
komby throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
komby closes the distance and clinches up with Sugawara, looking for a takedown. komby pushes Sugawara against the ropes but Sugawara circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sugawara lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nice uppercut lands for Sugawara. That snapped komby's head back.
komby takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
komby is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
komby fails to land the takedown.
Naoto Sugawara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
komby takes a jab right on the kisser.
komby bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sugawara misses with a body kick.
Sugawara lands a straight punch to the body, keeping komby at a distance.
komby on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Sugawara scores with a hook.
Oh komby is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sugawara cracks komby with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends komby tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sugawara pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! komby is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Naoto Sugawara!
