Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Abubakar Gadzhiyev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Francesco Crescenzo!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gadzhiyev shoots for a double leg takedown but Crescenzo sprawls well. He's pushed Gadzhiyev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Crescenzo clinches with his opponent.
Crescenzo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gadzhiyev closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Crescenzo did well to prevent Gadzhiyev getting side control.
Gadzhiyev seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Crescenzo pushes Gadzhiyev off looking to stand but Gadzhiyev dives back in and keeps control.
Crescenzo is looking to control Gadzhiyev's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Crescenzo avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crescenzo is looking for a sweep. Gadzhiyev is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Crescenzo wants to control the action here but instead Gadzhiyev manages to pass to full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
