Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maxwell Mullins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ernesto Duke!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duke lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mullins will feel that in the morning.
Duke looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mullins stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Duke.
Mullins on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Duke. Duke obviously looking to wear him down.
A thudding body kick lands there by Mullins!
Duke throws a nice inside leg kick.
Mullins misses with a takedown
letting Duke counter with a right hand.
Mullins closes the distance and clinches up with Duke, looking for a takedown. Mullins pushes Duke against the cage but Duke circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mullins jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Duke walks away with a smile on his face. Mullins gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Duke moves into range and clinches up with Mullins.

Mullins changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Duke fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Duke lands with a thumping leg kick.
Mullins is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Duke swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mullins.

and Duke counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Duke blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Duke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mullins throws a sloppy head kick
and Duke counters with a crisp one two that drops Mullins! Duke thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mullins to his feet! Mullins is in big trouble!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Duke catches Mullins with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Mullins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duke swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mullins throws a low kick but it's checked well by Duke.
Duke connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Duke's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Duke duly obliges.
Oh Mullins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maxwell Mullins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
