The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amrani closes the distance and clinches.
Amrani working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Amrani throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Onigawas head.
Amrani lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Amrani has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Onigawa regains guard immediately.
Amrani wants to pass the guard but Onigawa is keeping the position.
Onigawa is looking for a triangle but Amrani pushes his legs off easily.
Onigawa is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Amrani has his hands clasped together but Onigawa extends and breaks Amrani's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Onigawa.
