Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Boytsov (ranked 1771 p4p, 1505 weight class) and Silas Hodge (ranked 209 p4p, 184 weight class). Boytsov comes to the cage accompanied by AMAZING. On his way into the cage it seems that Dmitry Boytsov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Dmitry Boytsov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 24 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitry Boytsov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Silas Hodge! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Boytsov. Boytsov getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
 It looks like Silas Hodge has been cut. Hodge throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Boytsov on the side of the head. Boytsov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hodge gets tackled into the cage by Boytsov. Boytsov maintains the clinch.
Hodge decides to pull guard. Boytsov wants to pass the guard but Hodge is keeping the position. Boytsov would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Hodge wants to sweep here but Boytsov controlling him for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hodge is looking for a triangle but Boytsov pushes his legs off easily.
Boytsov passes Hodge's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hodge makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hodge.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Hodge keeping full guard, as Boytsov tries to pass. Boytsov passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Boytsov is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hodge has escaped the position, nice work there. Hodge manages to get back to half guard. Hodge moves into full guard.
Hodge working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Boytsov has passed into half guard!
Boytsov is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Boytsov is trying to improve position by moving to mount. Hodge has hold of his neck though and manages to move into guard! All of a sudden, Boytsov is in a lot of trouble! Hodge is straining to finish and he's done it! Boytsov taps out! Amazing!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Silas Hodge! Dmitry Boytsov spoke after the fight, saying 'I don't care'.
