Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanow stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Romanow swings widly with a right hand
and Romanow takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Romanow misses with a left hand
and Romanow takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Romanow fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Romanow dives in and grabs Nicholas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nicholas pushes down on Romanow's head and hops out.
Nicholas getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Marcel Romanow has been cut.
Romanow throws the left hand but Nicholas avoids the punch easily.
Crunch! Nicholas slams his shin into Romanow's torso.
Nicholas sends Romanow crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Nicholas is motioning to the referee to let Romanow up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nicholas lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Romanow is breathing heavily.
Romanow walks straight into a right hand from Nicholas - that's dropped him! Nicholas jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Romanow from any more punishment! Romanow complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Franz Nicholas!
