Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Caceres (ranked 244 p4p, 546 weight class) and Luka Sorenson (ranked 40 p4p, 72 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Luka Sorenson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rickson Caceres!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luka Sorenson!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorenson slips under a jab.
Sorenson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sorenson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Caceres circles away from the clinch attempt.
Caceres closes the distance and clinches up with Sorenson, looking for a takedown. Caceres pushes Sorenson against the cage but Sorenson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We've been hearing good reports from Caceres's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Caceres tries to clinch up but Sorenson pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Caceres to the mat! Caceres covers up and Sorenson unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Luka Sorenson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
