Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shteve Erthegg (ranked 1669 p4p, 1540 weight class) and Long Duck (ranked 146 p4p, 135 weight class). Erthegg kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Office Theme. Duck has chosen Trouble man as his entrance music. Long Duck has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shteve Erthegg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Long Duck! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erthegg scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Erthegg working away. Duck wants to get back to his feet but Erthegg is dominant here and he's now got Duck's back! Erthegg has the hooks in. Duck is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Duck looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Duck tries to escape the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Erthegg's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Duck is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Duck is trying to get back to his feet but Erthegg has full control of the position and if anything, Duck has just worked his way into a worse spot. Erthegg is trying to stick to Duck's back but Duck is turning into Erthegg. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Erthegg's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Duck. Erthegg bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Duck's guard.
 The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Erthegg is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Duck has Erthegg pulled in close to control his posture. Erthegg trying to control the position from guard on top but Duck is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Erthegg won't allow Duck to sweep him here. Duck controls Erthegg momentarily but Erthegg frees himself. Erthegg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Duck swivels though and keeps the full guard. Duck is pulling down on Erthegg's head. It's preventing any offense from Erthegg, at least for the moment. Duck has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Erthegg has passed into side control.
Duck is trying to control Erthegg's posture but Erthegg avoids it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Duck looks to move to half guard but instead Erthegg has passed into mount! Damn! Erthegg tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Duck regains half guard. Duck has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Erthegg is working away from the top position though. Erthegg content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Duck is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Erthegg trying to control from half guard but Duck is working away. Duck wants to get back to full guard. Duck moves into full guard.
Erthegg trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Erthegg engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Erthegg trying to control the position from guard on top but Duck is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Shteve Erthegg dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Duck throws a body punch but Erthegg moves out of range. Erthegg feinted with a counter takedown. Duck connects with the punch.
 It looks like Shteve Erthegg has been cut. Erthegg getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Duck keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Erthegg. Erthegg slips a jab from Duck. Duck misses with a hook. Erthegg misses the shot to the body. Duck misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Erthegg.
Erthegg appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Erthegg showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Duck.
We've been told by Erthegg's head coaches at KO MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Long Duck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duck scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Erthegg doesn't seem bothered though. Erthegg thows a left - swing and a miss! Despite the aggression on Duck's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Duck scores with a jab. Erthegg acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Erthegg throws a jab when Duck was well out of range. Duck appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Duck scores with a hook. Erthegg takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
 Erthegg is rocked! Duck ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Oh Erthegg is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Duck cracks Erthegg with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Erthegg looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Duck finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action! Duck bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Erthegg slips a jab from Duck. Erthegg ducks under a wild hook from Duck. Nice uppercut there from Duck. Duck circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Erthegg tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Duck wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Long Duck! Long Duck opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
