Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnem�ki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stephen with a poor takedown
and Pihvi counters with a stiff right hand.
Stephen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pihvi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stephen scrambles back to his feet.
Pihvi lands with a cross.
Stephen wants to clinch but Pihvi slips to the side
and Pihvi counters with a series of strikes. Stephen will be more careful next time no doubt.
Stephen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Pihvi counter with a right hand.
Stephen scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pihvi is concentrating on defense, preventing Stephen from advancing position.
Pihvi is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Pihvi is staying active underneath Stephen, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Stephen is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Pihvi is refusing to be controlled, as Stephen sits in half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Horrible takedown attempt by Stephen or perhaps it was just good defense by Pihvi, which made it look bad.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Pihvi scores with the left hand. Stephen knows he should have avoided that one.
Stephen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Pihvi counters with a three punch combo that has Stephen backing up. Stephen nods at Pihvi to acknowledge the strikes.
Vege Pihvi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Stephen.
Pihvi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stephen's head.

and Stephen takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Pihvi gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Stephen has Pihvi pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Pihvi manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Pihvi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pihvi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Pihvi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Stephen's head backwards.
Pihvi pushes Stephen up against the cage in a clinch.
Pihvi is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Pihvi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stephen tries for a takedown but Pihvi circles away easily
enabling Pihvi to counter with a crisp jab.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pihvi, as that shot connected.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pihvi connects with a body shot.
Stephen throws a leg kick that is checked
letting Pihvi counter with a right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stephen doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Pihvi counter with a right hand.
Stephen is rocked!
and Pihvi counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Stephen! He's just covering up as Pihvi starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
