The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longchambon slips under a jab from Edge.

Longchambon appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Talebot Longchambon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Longchambon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Edge's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edge is looking for a sweep. Longchambon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Longchambon uses his free foot to push down on Edge's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Edge.

Edge really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Longchambon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A helpless look comes across Edge 's face. He knows he's trapped as Longchambon lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!
