The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odimabesser gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Odimabesser jumps guard and drags Salvacion to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Odimabesser is looking for a triangle but Salvacion pushes his legs off easily.
Odimabesser is adopting a defensive guard.
Salvacion looking to sit in guard and control but Odimabesser gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Salvacion can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Odimabesser controls the pace.

Salvacion is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Odimabesser looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Salvacion is defending well. Odimabesser quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Salvacion has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Odimabesser celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
