Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sultan Khan (ranked 3989 p4p, 3952 weight class) and Zhuv Pizza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sultan Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zhuv Pizza!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pizza shoots in for a takedown but Khan shows good takedown defense.
A nice combination there by Khan.
Pizza leaves Khan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Khan throws a right and a left that Pizza avoids nicely.
Pizza is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Khan with a body shot.
Pizza misses with a takedown attempt - Khan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Khan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Pizza dives in and grabs Khan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Khan pushes down on Pizza's head and hops out.
Sultan Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zhuv Pizza.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khan throws a leg kick which misses Pizza's front leg but catches the back leg as Pizza tries to avoid it.
Pizza tries to clinch up but Khan circles away and keeps his distance.

Pizza shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pizza showed some decent athleticism there.
Pizza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Khan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are battling for position here. Khan manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Khan is trying to control the position but Pizza postures up.
Khan kicks Pizza off and gets to his feet.
Pizza is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Khan.
Pizza changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Khan tries to avoid it but Pizza manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Khan to the ground. Khan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Khan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pizza tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Khan is in Pizza's guard.
Pizza is trying to keep Khan in close.

Khan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Khan's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Khan stops Pizza from standing up.

Khan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Khan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Pizza tries to close the distance and clinch up but Khan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Khan tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Pizza manages to circle out of the way.
Khan shoots for a double leg takedown but Pizza sprawls well. He's pushed Khan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pizza shoots in looking for a takedown but Khan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pizza's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Khan clinches up with Pizza and pushes him back against the cage.
Pizza gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Khan.
Pizza is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Khan is defending well for now.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sultan Khan dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Khan goes for a double leg but Pizza avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pizza continues to drive forward.

Pizza rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Khan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Khan has managed to clinch.
Khan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Khan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Khan gets tackled into the cage by Pizza. Pizza maintains the clinch.
Pizza gets control of Khan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pizza will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Khan stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Pizza has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Khan manages to get his head free but now Pizza has transitioned to an armbar! Khan grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Pizza! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
