The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Utsecks closes the distance and clinches up with Junior, looking for a takedown. Utsecks pushes Junior against the cage but Junior circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Junior shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Utsecks is trying to defend but Junior finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Junior (2) vs (0) Utsecks

Utsecks tries to lock up and control but Junior gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Junior wants to control the pace but Utsecks is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Utsecks is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Junior has latched onto it... Big trouble! Junior pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Utsecks is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Junior!
