Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tappy McOut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spencer Fisher JR (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tappy McOut! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spencer Fisher JR! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McOut is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fisher JR looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McOut is fending him off so far but Fisher JR persists. Nope, McOut circles away and we're back to standing. Fisher JR tries to clinch there but McOut circles away.
Fisher JR tries to clinch but McOut is having none of it. Fisher JR shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McOut but McOut pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fisher JR rushes McOut and presses him up against the cage. McOut is pressed up against the cage. Fisher JR has hold of a leg and is looking to drag McOut down to the mat. McOut avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Tappy McOut has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spencer Fisher JR. McOut fails with an attempt to clinch.
McOut closes the distance but Fisher JR moves to the side and Fisher JR counters with a shoot takedown. McOut fights it but they end up in guard. Fisher JR scores with a decent looking elbow strike. McOut wants to stand and escape but Fisher JR is having none of it. McOut working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fisher JR doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fisher JR manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fisher JR stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McOut swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fisher JR is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. McOut is looking for a triangle but Fisher JR pushes his legs off easily.
McOut is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fisher JR trying to control the position from guard on top but McOut is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McOut escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fisher JR gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fisher JR tries to free his leg and advance position but McOut is retaining full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Fisher JR shoots in and bounces McOut off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fisher JR passes easily into side control. Nice work. Fisher JR in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McOut sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McOut has hold of Fisher JR's hands but Fisher JR slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Fisher JR uses his free foot to push down on McOut's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McOut. Fisher JR lands a big shot there that rocks McOut but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
McOut is squirming around, avoiding Fisher JR's attempts to control the action. A nice elbow there by Fisher JR. Fisher JR punching from mount but McOut doing a good job of avoiding damage. Fisher JR swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and McOut is now in Fisher JR's guard. A big mistake from Fisher JR there, giving up the dominant position! Fisher JR looking for submissions from the bottom but instead McOut passes into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McOut trying to control the position but Fisher JR is working away. Fisher JR parries the strikes from McOut easily there. McOut is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Fisher JR to escape.
McOut lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. McOut staying calm. Fisher JR regains half guard. Fisher JR avoiding damage under a succession of punches from McOut. Fisher JR trying to control from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fisher JR looking for submissions off his back. Fisher JR is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
McOut jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fisher JR manages to avoid the submission attempt. Fisher JR gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Fisher JR looking for submissions off his back. Fisher JR looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spencer Fisher JR dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Fisher JR tries to keep at a distance but McOut has taken the fight into the clinch. McOut tries to score a body lock takedown but Fisher JR shows good agility there to stay on his feet. McOut lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
McOut not landing any meaningful shots this time. Fisher JR moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. McOut is sitting in close to Fisher JR's body. Fisher JR has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! McOut is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, McOut is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Fisher JR.
