Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wanderlei Rua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chaos Kemppainen!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kemppainen attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Rua appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Rua uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kemppainen.
A big left from Kemppainen misses.
Rua has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kemppainen finds it's way round the side to connect with Rua's head.
It looks like Wanderlei Rua has been cut.
Rua throws a nice looking combination but Kemppainen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rua misses with a body punch
and Kemppainen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rua tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kemppainen was well out of range. Poor timing from Rua.
Rua connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kemppainen. Kemppainen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and Kemppainen counters with a stiff right hand.
Kemppainen drives through and clinches with Rua against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kemppainen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Kemppainen swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kemppainen swings wildly with an uppercut but Rua uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rua tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kemppainen's elbow.

Kemppainen takes the fight into the clinch.
Rua struggles to land a body shot inside as Kemppainen controls his hands.
Rua tries to work over Kemppainen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Kemppainen tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Kemppainen keeps control of Rua as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Kemppainen misses with a body punch.

Rua tries to throw a body punch but Kemppainen avoids it by throwing Rua back against the cage.
Kemppainen pushes Rua back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kemppainen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rua misses with a hook.
It seemed like Kemppainen was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Kemppainen throws out a counter right but Rua avoids it with no problem.
A punch lands to the side of Kemppainen 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Chaos Kemppainen has been cut.
Rua cracks Kemppainen with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rua has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kemppainen to stand back up!
Kemppainen lands a leg kick that knocks Rua off balance momentarily.
Rua fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kemppainen manages to avoid it.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rua checks a leg kick.
It looked like Rua wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Kemppainen missing with a left hand there. Rua was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kemppainen ducks under a wild hook from Rua.
Kemppainen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rua.
Rua backing away here, and Kemppainen unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Rua misses with a straight left.
Rua connects with a body shot that sends Kemppainen's belly button to the back.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rua. Kemppainen does a little dance to reset his feet.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kemppainen.

Kemppainen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Wanderlei Rua's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
