Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Burton (ranked 673 p4p, 655 weight class) and Lian Belmiro (ranked 75 p4p, 70 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

A nice side step and Belmiro releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Burton shoots for a takedown but Belmiro saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Belmiro feints and as Burton raises his hands in defense, Belmiro changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Lian Belmiro has got the better of the ground game so far.
Belmiro is pushing down on Burton's leg trying to pass to half guard. Burton is fighting to maintain full guard but Belmiro has managed to sneak the leg through.
Burton on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Burton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Belmiro content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Burton tries to roll over but Belmiro keeps him under control.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Belmiro connects with a nice short shot to Burton's temple.

Belmiro maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Burton could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Belmiro has cracked it and Burton is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Belmiro!
