Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takehiko Hidaka (ranked 518 p4p, 731 weight class) and Mustafa McBeth (ranked 71 p4p, 101 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Takehiko Hidaka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mustafa McBeth!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBeth throws a lazy uppercut
and Hidaka counters with a straight right hand.
Hidaka swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McBeth counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
A swing and a miss from Hidaka.

McBeth missing with a left hand there. Hidaka was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hidaka appears to be looking for a big counter.

McBeth misses with a series of wild punches.
McBeth rushes Hidaka and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
McBeth doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

McBeth can't find room to land a body shot as Hidaka controls the action.
McBeth breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McBeth tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hidaka was well out of range. Poor timing from McBeth.
Hidaka thinks about countering with a body kick.
McBeth lands a body shot.
McBeth jabs Hidaka to the body, keeping him at a distance.
McBeth stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
McBeth jabs Hidaka right on the nose. Hidaka blinks but takes it well.
McBeth throws a body shot but no joy.

Hidaka tries to keep at a distance but McBeth has taken the fight into the clinch.
McBeth lands a nice uppercut.

McBeth throws a punch but it's blocked by Hidaka.
Hidaka is trying to break the clinch but McBeth has him pressed against the cage.

Hidaka tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McBeth smiles and moves away.

Hidaka lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Hidaka wants to slow McBeth down by chopping away at his legs.
Hidaka shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McBeth takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
McBeth checks the leg kick nicely there.
Hidaka takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McBeth tries to move into range but Hidaka moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
McBeth has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Hidaka throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mustafa McBeth dominated that round.
That's time! Hidaka's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McBeth tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McBeth lands with a good body shot.

McBeth takes a swing at Hidaka's ribcage but misses.
Hidaka tried to counter with a leg kick but McBeth avoided it.

The fight stays on the outside here - McBeth looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

McBeth drops Hidaka with a naaaaasty hook - Hidaka is in real trouble here! McBeth dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

A relieved looking Mustafa McBeth thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
