Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Carioni (ranked 958 p4p, 879 weight class) and Samuel Sycek (ranked 114 p4p, 102 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rodrigo Carioni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 23 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Samuel Sycek!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sycek tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carioni swivels and escapes.
Sycek closes this distance looking for a takedown but Carioni circles away.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Carioni enables Sycek to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Carioni manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
My spies in Brloh inform me that Sycek has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
