Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page wants to slow Soares down by chopping away at his legs.
Soares drives through with a takedown into Page's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Page has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Soares off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Page tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Soares manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Noe Page seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
