Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Benson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Rivas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivas throws out a loose jab but Benson uses good head movement to avoid it.
A head kick misses from Benson.

Rivas shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Benson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Rivas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Benson keeps working.
Benson is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Rivas decides to stand up, so the ref orders Benson to his feet.

Rivas gets a clinch.
Rivas jumps guard but Benson stands there with Rivas around his waist. Rivas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Rivas tries to pull guard but Benson won't allow it.
Rivas fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Tyler Benson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ramon Rivas.

Rivas has Benson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Rivas pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Benson tumbling to the mat - Rivas dives into Benson's guard.

Rivas lying in Benson's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Benson decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Rivas taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
