Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard John Salvacion (ranked 23263 p4p, 23438 weight class) and Gakus Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 59 - 83 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 60 - 75 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gakus Amiga! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. No luck for Salvacion with that takedown attempt. And Amiga responds with a good body kick, but Salvacion manages to step out the way in time. Amiga defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Salvacion. Amiga is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Amiga shoots in looking for a takedown but Salvacion manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Amiga's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Salvacion tried to counter with a leg kick but Amiga avoided it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard John Salvacion. That's going to take a lot out of him.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Salvacion. Salvacion avoids a kick to the body.
Salvacion thinks about countering with a body kick. Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown but Amiga manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salvacion's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Amiga feints a counter leg kick.
Salvacion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Amiga's guard. Salvacion controlling from the top position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga is pulling down on Salvacion's head to control his posture. Salvacion controls from within his opponent's guard. Amiga pulls Salvacion in close to prevent any damage.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga is continuing to stall.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Salvacion fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Amiga shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Salvacion thinks about countering with a body kick. Amiga with a poor takedown and Salvacion counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Salvacion wants it to stay on the feet. And Salvacion counters with a quick kick to the body but Amiga blocks it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Richard John Salvacion dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown but Amiga shows good takedown defense. Amiga replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it well.
Salvacion feints and as Amiga raises his hands in defense, Salvacion changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Amiga wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Salvacion is now in half guard. Salvacion perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga keeping hold of Salvacion's head, controlling as best he can. Amiga wants to improve his position but Salvacion is controlling well.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga trying to hold on to Salvacion's head to control him but Salvacion postures up.
Salvacion is controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amiga wants to control but Salvacion is keeping busy.
 The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Amiga throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Salvacion tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Amiga is in Salvacion's guard. Salvacion keeping moving, preventing Amiga from controlling successfully. Salvacion is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Amiga can do to turn this around? Amiga controlling from the top position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Salvacion holds on and takes a little breather. Amiga pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Salvacion is keeping the position for now. Salvacion being controlled here, momentarily.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Salvacion looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Salvacion trying to control the position.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Richard John Salvacion will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Salvacion dives in and grabs Amiga's left leg, looking for a takedown. Amiga pushes down on Salvacion's head and hops out. Amiga replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Salvacion blocks it well. Amiga fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horrible takedown attempt by Amiga or perhaps it was just good defense by Salvacion, which made it look bad. And Salvacion counters with a quick kick to the body but Amiga blocks it. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Amiga. Richard John Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gakus Amiga. Amiga tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Salvacion defends well and Amiga ends up having to push Salvacion into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Salvacion closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Amiga to the mat! Amiga manages to get full guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Salvacion content to stall in guard here. Salvacion stopping the sweep attempt from Amiga. Amiga pulls Salvacion in to control the position. Amiga keeping full guard, as Salvacion tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga has Salvacion pulled in close to control his posture. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Amiga fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Salvacion to the ground. Amiga is now in Salvacion's guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Salvacion tries to land a sweep but no joy. Salvacion seems keen to control Amiga's posture. Salvacion lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
 Gakus Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Richard John Salvacion is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Salvacion controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Amiga for as long as he can get away with.
And that's the end of the fight! Richard John Salvacion showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Salvacion, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
