Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rico Salvacion (ranked 23303 p4p, 23193 weight class) and Kugus Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rico Salvacion is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 63 - 77 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 71 - 65 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Amiga tries to land a body kick
and Salvacion counters with a body kick that stops Amiga in his tracks momentarily.
Salvacion changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Amiga looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
A lull in the action here.
You can see the frustration on Amiga's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Salvacion shoots in looking for a takedown but Amiga manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Salvacion's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Amiga thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Salvacion's head.

Amiga fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Salvacion, pushing him back against the cage.

Amiga closes the distance and clinches up with Salvacion, looking for a takedown. Amiga pushes Salvacion against the cage but Salvacion circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kugus Amiga showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Salvacion has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Amiga is working away from the top position though.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Amiga is taking a breather. Salvacion says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Salvacion shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Amiga's guard.
Amiga is looking to stand back up but Salvacion counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Amiga.

Salvacion wants to lay and pray for a moment but Amiga keeps working.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Salvacion has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Salvacion passes into side control, despite Amiga's attempt to control the position.
