Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Illir Cela (ranked 1780 p4p, 3359 weight class) and Dio Escudero (ranked 140 p4p, 208 weight class). Escudero has chosen El Sonidito- Hechizeros Band as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Dio Escudero enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escudero gets a clinch.

Cela drops down looking for an ankle pick but Escudero pulls his leg out and moves away.
Escudero scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Escudero moves into range and connects with a jab.
Escudero rushes Cela and presses him up against the cage.

Horrible takedown attempt by Cela or perhaps it was just good defense by Escudero, which made it look bad.

Escudero is pressed up against the cage. Cela has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Escudero down to the mat. Escudero avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Illir Cela. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Escudero connects with a right hand. Cela shakes it off.
Cela tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Escudero counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cela thinking.

Escudero has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Escudero lands with an uppercut that bounces Cela off the cage and back into range.
Oh Cela is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Escudero clinches up against the cage.
Cela wants to take the fight to the mat but Escudero manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Cela seems to have got his legs back now.

Cela is trying to drag Escudero to the mat but Escudero just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Escudero counters with a crisp right that sends Cela to the canvas! Escudero follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
