Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Nilsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Bobbet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nilsson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Zukyun Love by Mini Moni. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobbet misses with a looping left.
Bobbet wants to clinch up but Nilsson keeps it at a distance.
Bobbet stuffs the takedown attempt from Nilsson. Nilsson gets slowly back to his feet.
Bobbet works Nilsson's body with a nice hook.
Bobbet comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bobbet throws a lazy right hand but Nilsson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bobbet throws an overhand right that lands on Nilsson's shoulder, as Nilsson tries to avoid the shot.
Nilsson moves out of range as Bobbet strikes.
Bobbet tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nilsson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bobbet has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nilsson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Nilsson misses with a knee to the head.

With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Nilsson just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bobbet's brow.
Nilsson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bobbet avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Nilsson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Oh but Nilsson is tightening it up a little... Bobbet has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Bobbet reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Bobbet taps out! nice BJJ there by Nilsson!
