Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Saekenpai Fairtex!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Demetrius Alvarez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fairtex rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alvarez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fairtex closes the distance and clinches up with Alvarez, looking for a takedown. Fairtex pushes Alvarez against the cage but Alvarez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Alvarez throws a fast counter high kick but Fairtex manages to duck under it in time.
Fairtex slaps away a takedown attempt from Alvarez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fairtex tries for a takedown but Alvarez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fairtex tries to score a power double leg takedown but Alvarez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fairtex somewhat.
