Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between bat man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bala Bala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bala has chosen Tough at the top as his entrance music. bat man has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bala shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. man is trying to defend but Bala finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
No joy there for Bala, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That was a close round but I would say that bat man will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
man throws a nice looking combination but Bala bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
man moves in looking to clinch but Bala pushes him off.

Bala is on the wrong end of a nice combination from man.

Bala shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bala was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bala is going olschool here, as he tries to force man to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so man shrugs it off.

man has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

man is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.

Bala closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

man clinches with his opponent.
man's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
man dips to his left and cracks Bala with an uppercut!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts man, as that shot connected.

Bala is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by man.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bala shoots in for a takedown but man shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

man gets caught flat footed, as Bala shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
man is looking to stand up but Bala isn't so interested in that idea.
Bala tries to free his leg and advance position but man is retaining full guard.

Bala looking to sit in guard and control but man gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Bala bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in man's guard.
Bala drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and man dives on top into guard.

man won't allow Bala to sweep him here.
Bala has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. man is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bala.
man decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Bala dives in and grabs man's left leg, looking for a takedown. man pushes down on Bala's head and hops out.
man lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by man.

Bala Bala has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bala moves forwards but man connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for man, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
