Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Seagal (ranked 3976 p4p, 1889 weight class) and Tarik Oren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seagal comes into the arena with Route 23 blaring out of the sound system. Oren has chosen La Caution - Thé à la Menthe as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oren lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Oren stalks Seagal and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Seagal's face. Seagal staggers backwards, shaken.

Oren is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Seagal is breathing heavily.
Oren is looking to slow Seagal down with leg kicks.
Oren drops Seagal with a left and a right! Oh, Seagal is hurt - Oren dives into side control looking to finish!

Steven Seagal's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Oren is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Oren's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Seagal wants to get back to his feet.

Oren advances nicely into full mount.
Oren tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Seagal really wants to buck Oren off and get back to his feet.
Oren controlling the pace for now.
Let's hope that Oren has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Seagal is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Oren lands a jab-cross combination.
Seagal takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jeez, Steven Seagal's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Oren has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Seagal is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Seagal throws a hook to the side of Oren's head but Oren sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Oren has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Seagal throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Oren goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Steven Seagal's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
