Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alfred Magnusson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, charles king!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from king.
Magnusson closes the distance and pushes king back into the cage.
Magnusson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. king is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
king tries to circle away but Magnusson has him pinned against the cage.
Magnusson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite king's efforts to push away.
king digs a right hand into Magnusson's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Magnusson's gas tank.
king is looking to break free of the clinch but Magnusson has double underhooks.
A bit of stalling here from Magnusson.
Magnusson is trying to break the clinch but king has him pressed against the cage.

A frustrated look appears on king's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Magnusson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

king works the jab nicely.
Magnusson tries to move into range but king moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
king uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Magnusson.
king missing with a left hand there. Magnusson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Magnusson.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alfred Magnusson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
king lands a nice shot to the body.
Magnusson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by king.
Magnusson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches king napping and manages to drive through into side control!
king can't do much from the bottom here.

king manages to get back to half guard.
king is concentrating on defense, preventing Magnusson from advancing position.
king is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
king won't allow Magnusson to pass to mount.
king is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Magnusson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Magnusson's back!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
king is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Magnusson rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
king is controlling the pace.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Magnusson wants to improve his position but king is controlling well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Magnusson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Magnusson.
Magnusson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
king misses with a series of wild punches.
king throws a nice outside leg kick.
A nice combination there by king.
Magnusson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Magnusson is rocked!
king swings and misses with a hook to the body.
king lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Magnusson crumples to the floor! king milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
