Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard Long (ranked 3013 p4p, 21162 weight class) and The Royal Savage (ranked 294 p4p, 422 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Long! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 25 - 28 - 1, fighting out of New York, The Royal Savage! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Long feints and then cracks Savage's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Savage down. Savage avoids a punch combination nicely.
Savage looks to clinch and Long counters with an inside leg kick. Savage has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Long. We've been told by Long's head coaches at Ludus Magnus that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Long swats away the attempt to clinch by Savage. Long lands with a thumping leg kick.
Long defending well as Savage loads up on a big left hand. Long walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Savage tries to clinch up but Long circles away and keeps his distance. Long lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Long misses with a wild combination.
This has been an exciting period of action! A cross from Long lands.
 Savage is rocked!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Savage throws a poor cross that misses
and Long counters with an inside leg kick. Savage throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Long counters with a leg kick. Long is looking to slow Savage down with leg kicks. Savage tries to clinch and Long counters with a lovely straight right hand! Savage is still on wobbly legs! Can Long finish him? Savage tries to clinch up but Long circles away and keeps his distance. Long swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. A telegraphed right hand from Savage misses the target. A little feinted left hand from Long on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Long circles away from the clinch attempt.
As Savage looks to move away, Long throws a big counter combo but Savage just gets out of the way. Long takes a jab right on the kisser.
Savage rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Long counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Richard Long! Richard Long seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
