Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jordi Foz (ranked 4105 p4p, 25953 weight class) and Best Chess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jordi Foz has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jordi Foz seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordi Foz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Best Chess! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foz shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chess as he jumps to the side. Chess thinks about the counter body kick.
Chess looking to score a takedown here. Foz is defending well but Chess drives through and ends up in Foz's guard. Foz working a defensive guard here.
Foz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chess is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chess defends it easily. Chess must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Chess being controlled here momentarily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Foz continues to stall. Foz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Chess stopping the sweep attempt from Foz. Foz wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Chess trying to control the position from guard on top but Foz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Foz looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Chess trying to control but Foz is working from the bottom.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Foz clinches up with Chess and pushes him back against the cage.
Foz gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Foz controls from within his opponent's guard. Foz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Foz gets to his feet - Chess follows without any prompting. Chess displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Foz. Chess replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Foz blocks it well.
Foz has Chess up against the cage in a clinch.
Foz manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Foz pulls Chess in close to prevent any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Foz wants to stand up but Chess is controlling him.

Foz is controlling Chess's posture. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jordi Foz dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Foz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Chess is trying to counter with his kicks.
Foz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chess manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Foz throws a sloppy strike and Chess has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Foz is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Chess!
