Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rylan Wheeler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Dane Webster!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wheeler instigates a clinch.
Wheeler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wheeler lands with a straight right. Webster didn't see that one coming.
Webster gets tackled into the cage by Wheeler. Wheeler maintains the clinch.
Wheeler wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Webster throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Wheeler breaks the clinch.
Wheeler moves into the clinch.
Wheeler is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Wheeler's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wheeler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wheeler fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Webster to the ground. Wheeler is now in Webster's guard.
Webster is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Wheeler dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wheeler is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Webster looks calm but he's in trouble here. Wheeler gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Webster is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Wheeler lets go of the hold and Webster can pop his arm back in it's socket.
