The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith swings away with a body shot that misses
and Oosthuizen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A shot to the body from Smith misses
and Oosthuizen counters with a stiff right hand.
Oosthuizen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Smith.
Smith throws a poor cross that misses
letting Oosthuizen counter with a right hand.
Oosthuizen drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Smith right on the button. Smith goes down! Oosthuizen follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Oosthuizen gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Francis Oosthuizen !
Francis Oosthuizen spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
