Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alan Arnolds (ranked 2423 p4p, 1790 weight class) and Matija Maestro (ranked 208 p4p, 159 weight class). Arnolds comes to the cage accompanied by Free and Easy - The Almighty. Maestro has chosen Planet Caravan - Black Sabbath as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Alan Arnolds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 26 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matija Maestro! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maestro misses with a body shot.
Arnolds throws an overhand right that lands on Maestro's shoulder, as Maestro tries to avoid the shot. Arnolds looks to land a left hand but Maestro moved out of range nicely. Arnolds looks to land a left hand but Maestro moved out of range nicely.
Maestro has closed the distance and engaged Arnolds in a clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A head punch blocked on the inside by Maestro. Maestro on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Maestro looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.  That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Arnolds wants to sweep here but Maestro controlling him for the moment. Arnolds utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Arnolds is controlling Maestro's posture. Arnolds's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Maestro looking to sit in guard and control but Arnolds gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Arnolds turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Arnolds manages to end up in side control. Maestro is not content to let Arnolds control the position. Maestro is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Arnolds's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Arnolds is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Maestro can do to turn this around? Arnolds takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Arnolds slows the pace down in half guard. Arnolds is thwarting Maestro's attempts to control the position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Arnolds is keen to just control but Maestro is a slippery customer. Arnolds passes to full mount! Maestro is desperately trying to improve his position but Arnolds has a good base and remains in mount. Arnolds controlling from mount. Maestro is bucking up trying to escape but Arnolds cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Maestro regains half guard. Arnolds prevents Maestro from improving his position.

Maestro is looking for a sweep. Arnolds is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Arnolds performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Alan Arnolds dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Arnolds working over Maestro with some ground and pound. Maestro looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Maestro trying to hold on to Arnolds's head to control him but Arnolds postures up.
Arnolds is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Arnolds frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Arnolds looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Arnolds trying to control but Maestro is having none of it. Alan Arnolds is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Maestro tries to hold on but Arnolds postures up. Arnolds prevents Maestro from getting the reversal. Matija Maestro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Arnolds controlling the pace for now. Maestro is trying desperately to improve position. Arnolds controlling his opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Alan Arnolds showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Arnolds, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
