The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
One gets caught napping as Lee dives in and scores a takedown. One manages to retain guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Lee (2) vs (0) One Lee trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
One looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lee controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. One swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. One has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at ABC Submissions and GNP. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lee trying to control but One is working from the bottom. Lee is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. One is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Lee works a leg free and moves into half guard.
