Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stewart Charelston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gray Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Charelston tries to keep at a distance but Dixon has taken the fight into the clinch.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dixon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Dixon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Charelston. Those never looked like landing.
Dixon is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Charelston shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dixon eats them both and turns towards Charelston to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Gray Dixon has been cut.

It looks like it's working - Dixon slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Charelston displaying calm under pressure there.

Dixon shoots for a takedown but Charelston saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dixon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Charelston is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dixon can do to turn this around?
Charelston lands with a right that hurts Dixon. Dixon looks to clinch but Charelston throws a short knee that drops Dixon. This one is all over!
