Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Thor Poohammer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darrow Lykos!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lykos fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
No luck for Lykos with that takedown attempt.
Poohammer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lykos tries to clinch but Poohammer moves out of range.
Lykos scores with a head kick. Poohammer tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Poohammer slaps away a takedown attempt from Lykos, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Thor Poohammer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darrow Lykos.
Poohammer blocks a head kick by Lykos.
Lykos shoots in but Poohammer avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Poohammer misses with a body punch.
Poohammer tries to break the clinch but Lykos is controlling the position.

A frustrated look appears on Poohammer's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Lykos manages to break the clinch.
Lykos shoots in and drives through. Poohammer sprawls well.
Good exchange - Poohammer coming out on top.
Lykos fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lykos shoots for a takedown but Poohammer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Poohammer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Poohammer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
An attempted straight right counter from Poohammer misses the target.
Poohammer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lykos sprawling to the canvas! Lykos rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Poohammer finish him?!
Lykos is rocked!
It looks like Darrow Lykos has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Poohammer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lykos stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lykos is still on wobbly legs! Can Poohammer finish him?
Lykos drops his hands for a split second and Poohammer immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Lykos face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Poohammer follows up with a right hand that knocks Lykos into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Thor Poohammer!
